Guest Lecture by Dr. Andreas Umland on "The Fate of Ukraine and the International Security Order" (in German language) on November 7, 2024

In this guest lecture, the renowned expert on Ukraine and Eastern Europe, Dr. Andreas Umland, attempts to make clear the connection between the outcome of the war in Ukraine and the international security order, which has been neglected in many current discussions. Based on five special features of the Russian attack on Ukraine since 2014, it will be shown to what extent this invasion not only represents a fundamental breach of the post-war order, but also threatens the international security order in the long term, especially in the event of a Russian victory.
