At the 2nd Science Conference of the German domestic intelligence services (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz) in Berlin in September 2023, research associate and PhD student Arista Beseler and chairholder Prof. Florian Toepfl gave the presentation "Channels for the Kremlin's Information Influence Abroad? How German-language Alternative Media are Connected to Russia's Ruling Elites" (in German) as part of Panel 7 "Meinungsbildung 2.0: Zentrale Akteure als treibende Kraft der Einflussnahme" .
